How much do you charge?
Because every situation is different, we can’t offer generic prices for our services. However, you will find that our prices are competitive and fair. Will we be the cheapest? Probably not. Do you want the cheapest quality available for your special event? Probably not.
What type of equipment do you use?
We use high-quality DSLRs for our Videography AND Photography. These cameras have exceptional low-light performance and provide our clients with HD video and high quality photographs suitable for large prints. We also employ the use of tripods, steadicams, sliders, wireless audio recorders and monopods.
How many cameras will be there?
That’s completely up to you! Some clients prefer to have just one, while others prefer two. It depends on your preferences and needs. Naturally, having one camera is cheaper and less obtrusive, while having two offers a larger variety of captured moments.
If shooting a wedding video, will it be a “production?”
This is one thing that we try desperately to stay away from. We will not pose you and create scenes during and after your wedding ceremony. We are there to capture moments, and will attempt to be as un-obtrusive as possible. We work well with photographers and heavily prefer this type of approach. We want your day to be YOURS, not ours.
How are payments handled?
Generally speaking, upon booking of a specific date, we require a 25% deposit of monies owed. The remaining balance is due up to 14 days before the event takes place, depending on the type of services rendered. We can accept Credit/Debit cards, checks, and cash before and at your event.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Of course. This protects you just as much as it protects us. You will have plenty of time to review the contract before agreeing to it.
How involved will you be before the event?
We like to get to know our client and their needs as much as possible. We will communicate liberally in regards to your needs and requirements. We will also be available for any questions or concerns that may arise. After all, the end product is for YOU, and not us. We work hard to allow our product to be an accurate reflection of your needs and desires.
How will the final product be presented?
This varies greatly depending on the product. For a Wedding video, the finished product can be made available online in High Definition as well as distributed via DVD. We generally will offer our clients 3 DVDs to disburse, a video file, and online hosting of the video for a certain period of time. Photography sessions generally result in a small number of completely edited photographs along with the remaining pictures on a CD or usb flash drive. Because everyone’s needs are different, all of these terms are negotiable, and oft-times vary among our clients.
How long does it take to receive our completed product?
For videos, wait times can approach 4 weeks. The editing process is by far the most time consuming portion of video production. Once work is complete, we will notify you immediately and make the necessary shipping/delivery arrangements. Photographs generally take less time, with wait times between 1-2 weeks.
How far in advance should we contact you?
Naturally, schedules always fill up fast. It is never too early to contact us and schedule your important event. Of course, scheduling early will provide you with the greatest chance of securing our services!
